Metro. Say Metro here and you're probably talking about the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which provides transportation services for a mere ten million plus residents. Since 2000, Metro also has generously supported TransitPeople with free transit privileges. The cost savings add up, and so do the savings in time; when we travel by rail, we don't have to feed bills into the ticket machines while two trains go by! Thanks to Metro for helping TransitPeople kids travel to museums and festivals all over the city.

Aquarium of the Pacific. The typical L.A. Unified elementary student does well to get even one school field trip to this beautiful aquarium before leaving fifth grade. The aquarium supported us with a scholarship in 2001, and has contributed admission discounts and scholarship classes frequently since then.
