Whittier Elementary is in Long Beach, across the Pacific Coast Highway from Long Beach City College. It is east of the 710 freeway, and approximately twelve blocks east of the PCH Blue Line station. The TransitPeople group will meet at the 17th rear gate of the school, between Walnut and Gundrey, indicated by the X on the map. Transit riders can reach the school via the Blue Line, as well as the 172, 173 and 174 Long Beach Transit bus lines. Street parking should be available on the street around the school on weekends.
