Commonwealth Elementary is in the mid-Wilshire district, 4 blocks east of Vermont and immediately north of 3rd Street. It is south of the Hollywood 101 freeway and approximately 8 blocks northeast of the Wilshire/Vermont subway station.

     The main entrance to the school is on Commonwealth Avenue. Street parking should be available near the school on weekends.
