S. Mark Taper Foundation. Put in a little quality time with an online search engine and you'll soon see that this foundation's generous footprints are everywhere in Southern California: supporting a theatre for the deaf in North Hollywood, kids' climbing towers at Kidspace, a new wing at the Cabrillo Aquarium ... and, as the saying goes, much, much more.

Van Nuys Charities. Programs of interest for this terrific Southern California charity include medical clinics, shelter programs, health education programs and other projects benefiting the Los Angeles area. We're grateful that we're on the list, too: the Van Nuys Charities supported us in 2008, and again in 2010.
